It has come to the attention of “Big Red’s” Technical Department that some organisations are attempting to cut corners in providing a longer-term level of disinfection against the COVID-19 virus. As professionals in this field with over three decades of unequalled high-level experience in the industry, let us explain why taking short cuts will almost certainly lead to disappointment and will not provide the confidence and peace of mind being sought.
In order to provide ongoing protection and disinfection to combat the COVID-19 virus, we strongly advocate the use of our proprietary product ‘BR Shield’. This product is a silane-based quaternary disinfectant that when applied correctly to a properly prepared surface, will kill 99.99% of known pathogenic organisms including the inactivation of RNA derived viral particles such as the COVID-19 virus. Furthermore, this 99.99% level of disinfection is then guaranteed to continue for a period of at least 180 days from the date of application.
Watch the video on how BR Shield inactivates a virus.
However, the secret to successful disinfection and ongoing protection is in the appropriate preparation and application. For example, the preparation and treatment of porous and non-porous surfaces is not the same and if not conducted properly, it will cause staining and sub-optimal levels of protection.
An example of very poor DIY application or extreme professional incompetence is shown in the photos below:
Therefore, ‘Big Red’ has always advocated that when dealing with something as important as destroying the COVID-19 virus and literally protecting the health and well-being of our employees, customers and fellow Singaporean Citizens, it is not the time to cut corners or take short cuts, but rather to call in the professionals and let them provide a high quality, fully guaranteed treatment that will not disappoint you, your customers or your fellow citizens.
